STATIC SHOCK IN AFRICA

The Continuum has obtained a first look at two new characters appearing in an upcoming episode of Kids' WB!'s Static Shock episode.

The characters, Anasi and Osebo, will appear in the episode "Static in Africa," which is scheduled to air on Saturday, Feb. 8.

Anasi, a spider-themed character, is a hero whose voice is performed by Carl Lumbly, who also stars in Alias and does the voice of Martian Manhunter in Cartoon Network's Justice League animated series.

Osebo is the villain of the episode. He is voiced by Michael Jai White, who starred in the Spawn movie.

Roscoe Lee Browne, whose many credits include the Kingpin in Fox Kids' Spider-Man series, also is a guest-star in the episode.

"Static in Africa" was written by Dwayne McDuffie.
